Emerging from the ever-fertile musical fields of Berlin with a name that cracks a sarcastic smirk befitting their musical ideology, Zukunft (German for future) formed as a trio in 2020 as a vehicle for exploring minimalist improvisation and avante-garde aesthetics. Since then, the band has steadily grown from its experimental roots into a tightly woven 4-piece unit that deftly weave the long-form, groove oriented approach of Krautrock, with the warm, sun-drenched tones of west coast psychedelia.
